We offer IT consulting services throughout the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area and our Solution Street home office is located in Herndon, Virginia. Solution Street was featured in Inc. 5000 \u201cFastest Growing Private Companies\u201d in both 2012 and 2013. \u00a0Now is the time to be a part of our exciting adventure!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and capturing new clients for the company. \u00a0The Business Development Manager will attend relevant industry functions, meetings, conferences, trade shows, networking events and other venues to seek out new clientele.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>-College degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent degree<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Must have 3-5 years of proven success and experience in business development<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Experience using CRM to track leads, manage clients and track sales pipeline<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Proven sales success with calling clients and winning deals<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Must be able to work independently and on a team<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Great presentation, persuasion and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Proficient in Microsoft Office<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Ability to communicate at the most senior levels<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Must be flexible and willing to work outside of the normal working hours<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Desired Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Possess knowledge of the IT engineering infrastructure and market knowledge of commercial, government and non-profit clients in and around the Northern Virginia\/Washington, DC area<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>-Work directly with the company\u2019s managing partners and develop strategies on how to increase the client portfolio<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Contribute to strategic marketing and business plans<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Cold-call and email prospects on a daily basis<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Identify new opportunities with existing clients<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Monitor competitor products, services, sales and marketing activities to ensure competitive success<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Draw up contracts for new and existing clients<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Submit weekly progress reports to upper management and meet monthly\/quarterly goals<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Travel as needed<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Maintain and manage the Business database on Salesforce<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>About Solution Street<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Since 2002, Solution Street, an information technology consultancy, has helped private, government, and non-profit organizations achieve their business goals through the design and rapid deployment of web applications.
