Employee Referral Program Raffle Giveaway

Employee Referral Programs are a great way to encourage employees to recommend people they think will make a significant impact to their organization. For the first time ever, Solution Street conducted an Employee Referral Program Raffle Giveaway. The contest ran from November 15 until December 15, 2013.   As a result, we received 78 potential job candidate submissions! Each employee, who gave a referral, recommended an individual he or she considered to be in the top 20% of software engineers. For each referral, the Solution Street employee received one raffle ticket.  Some employees gave more than 10 referrals!  The 5 prizes included the following:

 

 

The winner was randomly drawn and Steve Hackley was our overall winner!  Way to go Steve!

 

Out of the 5 prizes, Steve chose the Apple iPad Air.

Solution Street also offers a $3,000 bonus after 90 days if an employee’s referral is hired.  Solution Street is currently looking for software engineers who have working experience with one or more of the following skills:

  • Ruby on Rails / Groovy on Grails
  • Java / Spring
  • Javascript Frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Backbone)
  • C#/ASP/.NET
  • Python/Django
  • Salesforce Integration
