Creative UI Developer

We offer consulting services throughout the Northern Virginia and DC area. This position is located in DC, near a Metro stop and the candidate must be willing to commute 5 days a week. Minimum Requirements
-5+ years of related working experience in the IT field, consulting experience is a plus
-Strong web design experience including design and implementation (HTML/CSS)
-Experience with dynamic languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl and/or Java
-Excellent knowledge of relational databases, such as Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server
-Computer Science or related 4-year degree, may be substituted for 12+ years’ experience
-Successful experiences that involve collaborating well with others in a cross functional, remote team
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-High energy, confident, and ambitious individual
-Must consistently perform at the highest levels in a dynamic and fast paced team
Responsibilities
-Design, implement user interfaces using HTML/CSS and Python/Django.
-Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
-Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
-Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
-Prepare and produce releases of software components.
-Support formal testing and resolve test defects.
